Corinth
William H. Dearborn, 85, of Comstock Road, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital.
Born on February 24, 1939, in Corinth, he was the son of the late Earl and Ella (Osborne) Dearborn. He attended Corinth Central Schools.
He married Helene Ives on September 13, 1958, in Corinth.
William was employed for 47 years at International Paper Company in Corinth, retiring in 1999 after serving many years as foreman.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, going for rides throughout the countryside. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to flea markets in Pennsylvania. He was quite a prankster and loved playing jokes on his grandchildren. His wonderful sense of humor will certainly be missed.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Roger Dearborn; a grandson, Marc Jenks; siblings: Earl Dearborn, Lila Coville, Gladys King, Elizabeth VanGuilder.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Helene Dearborn; a daughter: Wanda Dearborn; a son, Timothy (Kimberly) Dearborn; grandchildren: Jessica, Jamayka, Tristan, Kiersten; great grandchildren: Dakota, Kloey, Dillon, Sadie, Joey, and Jovie; siblings: Alice Priester of Saratoga Springs, Minnie Comrie of Adirondack and David Dearborn of Corinth; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Luzerne Cemetery, Lake Luzerne.
Following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to gather at Glad Rags Saloon, 29 Holmes Rd., Porter Corners to celebrate his life.
