Tara Farley Wyckoff (Rockwell) of Averill Park passed away peacefully on 8/7/2024. Tara was born on October 9, 1959, in Troy and resided in Wynantskill NY for most of her life. She is the daughter of Arthur M. Rockwell, Jr.,(passed 2014) and Nancy A. Rockwell. She is predeceased by her Husband Kenneth R. Wyckoff-(2013) of Lake Luzerne, NY whom she will love forever. Theirs was a unique and loving marriage with lots of laughter.
Survivors, Sister Kimberley (Tom) Denue, Jana (Steve) Russo, her son: Justin Farley, her children: Christine (Benji) Zadrozny, Karli (Billy) Carlton, Kenny (Savannah) Wyckoff, Jr. Her Grandchildren: Ben IV, Eilah, Wyatt and Eliza. She had a very close relationship with her nieces: Karyn (John) Healy, Jill Denue, Ryann Casey Russo (her girl) as well as her nephew Joseph (Kate) Russo, and her great nieces and nephews. She loved her family and friends, there are just too many to name.
She loved God, Wednesday night family dinners, Thursday night dinner with kids and grandkids, cousin gatherings, sewing adventures, seaside trips, movies, traveling, plays, and games. Tara has always been grateful to God for her blessings, having a close family as well having so many close friendships, full of love and laughter.
Relatives and friends may call at the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill, 413 Main Ave. Wynantskill on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 3 to 5 pm with a memorial service to follow at 5pm with Rev. Bethany Popkes, officiating. Interment will be in private.
Following the memorial service, relatives and friends are invited to join the family for Wednesday night dinner at the church. Please wear colorful clothing or something that reminds you of Tara. She wanted us to celebrate her life.
Tara asked that In lieu of flowers, give someone a hug, write them a nice note, or help them out somehow, pass along a nice deed for someone else.
