Suzanne V. Denn, 84, of Kathan Rd., passed away peacefully, Friday morning, June 26, 2026, at her home.

Born on August 22, 1941, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Roberts) Kenny.  She married Wayne Denn in New York City.

She had worked as office manager in the New York City Mayor’s Office Budget Department. After moving to Day full time in 1993, she ran for the office of Town Clerk. 

Suzanne was very artistic.  She enjoyed soap making, creating stained glass, knitting and quilting.  She had served as president of the Hudson River Piece Makers.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Sean Kenny. 

Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Wayne Denn; two sons: Michael (Sherry) Denn of Port Washington and Daniel (Carla) Denn of Stony Creek; one grandson, A.J.; a sister, Maureen Jankus of Ohio, her nieces and nephew: Christine, Eric, Melissa and Jessica; her beloved dog, Sadie and grand dogs: Max, Daisy and Howie.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.  to 3:00 p.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.

Immediately following the service there will be a celebration of life at the American legion  in Lake Luzerne (379 Lake Ave Lake Luzerne NY) with food and beverages.
