Susan M. Sutliff, 76, of First Ave., passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born on June 18, 1941 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Myron and Mildred (Bennett) Stewart.

She married Clarence J. Sutliff on October 9, 1960 at the First United Methodist Church of Lake Luzerne.

Susan was employed as a bookkeeper for Woodbury Lumber in Queensbury for many years.

Her enjoyment included reading, bowling, camping, and fishing with Clarence. Above all, Susan cherished the time she spent with her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Garry Stewart and an infant sister, Bonnie Stewart.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Clarence J. Sutliff; their children, Dawn (John) Thomas of Fultonville, Lyndon (Deborah) Sutliff of Potsdam, Marilyn Sutliff of Hadley, Randy (Karen) Sutliff of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Elliot Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Jake (Marisa) Sutliff, Matthew Sutliff, Morgan Sutliff, Gabrielle Sutliff, and Shane (Jennifer) Farmer.; great grandson, Hudson G.J. Farmer; a brother, Stephen (Marjorie) Stewart of Florida as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Casey Bradley, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Lake Luzerne, officiating.

Spring burial will be in Hadley Cemetery, Hadley.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Saratoga Hospital ICU for the loving care extended to Susan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Susan's memory may be directed to the Maxfield Community Food Pantry, 89 Bay Rd., Lake Luzerne or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163.
