Seth M. Guistimbelli, 47, of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away on January 14, 2023. He was
born on February 17,1975 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, to Ellen Helenek and the late Martin
Guistimbelli.
Seth grew up in the beautiful small town of Shelburne Falls, MA, along the Mohawk Trail. These
beautiful surroundings contributed to his great love for the outdoors. He graduated from
Mohawk Trail Regional High School in 1993. Seth went on to attend Adirondack Community
College and SUNY Albany. He most recently served as the Marketing Director for the Wesley
Foundation in Saratoga Springs.
Seth fell in love with the Adirondack Mountains. He loved being in nature and enjoyed spending
time in Lake Placid, Lake George, and Saratoga Lake. Seth had a deep love for kayaking and
was an outdoors enthusiast. He loved playing the guitar or any string or keyboard instrument
that he could get his hands on. Seth was a very talented songwriter, author, and photographer.
He was a genuine empath and artist.
Seth leaves behind loving wife, Niki Rossi, their Havanese, Izzy, and their other furry friends,
Buddy Bear, Franklin, and Butternut. In addition to his wife, Seth leaves behind his mother,
Ellen Helenek, and his step-father, James Helenek. His sister, Christie Deluca, her husband,
Kevin, and their three beautiful children, Haley, Katie, and Nathan. His sister Jessica Alexander,
her husband, Jalyn, and their two beautiful children, Jalyn and Ellura. He also leaves Jae
Helenek, his wife April, and their beautiful children, Piper, Crimson, Heidi, Simon, Sebastian,
Lucy, and Winter Rose. Christopher Helenek, his wife Kat, and their beautiful children,
Christopher and Kaydence. Tiffany Helenek, her wife, Jamie, and their two beautiful children,
Landon and Preston. Seth also leaves his mother-in-law, Holly Rossi, his brother-in-law
Stephen Rossi, his wife, Erin, and their two beautiful children, Hannah and Mack. In addition,
Seth leaves many friends and family members who have been so wonderful and loving over the
past few months.
There will be a green burial service for all family and friends on Tuesday, January 17th at noon
at St. Peter's Cemetery located at 150 West Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY. Following the service,
there will be a gathering at 550 Waterfront, Saratoga Lake, to celebrate Seth's life. In honor of
Seth's style, casual attire is preferred.
The family sincerely appreciates the wonderful care that Saratoga County Hospices has given
Seth. We don’t know what we would have done without their wonderful team. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Saratoga Hospice or your local animal shelter in his memory.
