Rosemary Ives Finnerty, Age 82, passed away on November 5 , 2024 surrounded by her loving husband and children after succumbing to Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Stony Creek, New York and the 4th daughter to the late Rev. Paul W. and Geraldine Ives.
Rosemary was a gifted seamstress having created many family heirloom wedding gowns. She also enjoyed painting, drawing, handiwork, crocheting, carpentry and electric work. She was proud to say "I did it all"!
Our guiding light and sweet angel will be waiting for us with open arms. Her loving heart, warm smile, and reassuring embrace will always be felt by all who knew her. Survived by her loving husband of 51 years Charles, and their children Shelly McLaughlin, Lancaster, P.A; Philip Bacon (Tari) of Glens Falls, NY; Elizabeth Krieger (Keith) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; David Bacon (Gigi) of Newburgh, NY; Patricia Finnerty of Glens Falls, NY; Wijittra Finnerty (Roger) of Melbourne, FL; and Thomas Bacon of Corinth, NY. Sisters; Geraldine Fowler and Joanne Conroy. Grandchildren Theresa Roy, Rachel Wittensoldner (Jason), Jeremiah Allen, Nathan Allen (Emily), Cassandra Bacon, Kelly Krieger, Todd Krieger, Sarah Pratt, Stacey Pratt (Tracy Nash). Great-Grandchildren Sebastian, Xander, Abigail, Atticus, Logan, Silas, Alexander and Emerson; Sisters Rev. Geraldine Fowler, Joanne Conroy; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved you all.
She is predeceased by sisters Anne Draffen, Paula Newkirk; baby brothers John and Mark; and son Roger Finnerty.
In keeping with Mom's wishes she will be laid to rest at Luzerne Cemetery in Lake Luzerne, NY on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1 p.m..
