Indian Lake
Rosalie A. Blanchard, 87, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at her home. At the time of her passing, she had her husband, Robert (of 58 years) and daughter by her side.
She was born November 15, 1938, in Stratford, NY and was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Pearl Bullock Aubin. She was educated in Stratford at Stratford Central School in Stratford.
She worked at General Electric plant in Syracuse for many years until the moved to Tampa, Florida in 1975 and started their own printing business which they ran until retiring in 2000. They moved to Indian Lake for her remaining years.
She had a love of feeding and watching the animals that came into their yard over the years. She also enjoyed doing crafts, quilting, sewing, and conservation shooting with her husband, Robert, for many years. She was a member and longtime treasurer of the Indian Lake Crafters. She loved her cat, Snuggles, who loved to snuggle next to her in bed.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Ronald and Shirley Aubin, Lorraine Aubin, Caroline and Jack Walker; her first husband, Willis Comstock; her parents; in-laws, Earl and Merry Blanchard.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert H. Blanchard; children: Lisa Case and fiancé Randy Johnson of Stratford, NY, Yvonne Oliver and husband Randy of Odessa, FL, Denise Barton of Dolgeville; cherished 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Rosalie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Burial will be in Salisbury Rural Cemetery will be held at a date to be announced.
