Rodney J. DeMarsh, 51, of Niblic Rd., passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at his home.

Born on May 5, 1973, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Audrey (Hayes) DeMarsh and the late James C. DeMarsh.  He attended Hadley Luzerne Central School.

Rodney had been employed as a custodian at Hadley Luzerne Central School as well as Glens Falls Hospital. He had also worked as a groundskeeper and ride operator at Magic Forest.

He enjoyed all genres of music, watching football and wrestling.  He enjoyed swimming and spending time with his family and experiencing new things with his son Hunter.

He was predeceased by his father, James DeMarsh and two brothers: Jimmy DeMarsh and Bobby DeMarsh.

He is survived by his mother, Audrey DeMarsh of Lake Luzerne; his son, Hunter DeMarsh of Hadley; siblings: Debbie DeMarsh of Greenfield Center, Cindy (Mike Maddux) Peacock of South Glens Falls, Bruce (Lori) Thomas of Saratoga Springs, Wayne (Gwen) Thomas of Queensbury, Pam (Kelly Oakes) Hagadorn of Queensbury; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including his closest nieces, Erica and Jennifer Hagadorn.

Friends may call from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.

A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home.
