I am truly saddened; I wish his family many thoughts and prayers. I worked with Bob for several years at Saratoga Bridges just over 20 years ago. He was a dedicated man who very much cared for the individuals we cared for. There were many good days for them while he was in their life. He helped me with learning the job and understanding things better and I guess in a way he was our work Dad. He was a wonderful man; I am glad to have had a chance to know him.

The Madison School Class of 1963 has forwarded a gift in Bob's name to the Estherville Animal Shelter. We have alerted class members regarding his passing, and do offer our sympathy to all of his family. As his obituary states, Bob was a good dancer, liked to sing, always had a smile on his face, loved horses, and as I remember, always had his comb in hand to keep in place what we called in those days, the perfect "duck tail" hair style. We will be celebrating our 60-year class reunion this July, and a candle will be lit in Bob's memory. Again, we offer our condolences to all family and close friends.

He was such a nice man. We met him through mom & dad (Dave & Millie) he would bring hay to mom & dads farm and to Saratoga Harness and for us. He was a very nice man, he always had a smile when we saw him. Hugs to his family. Joe & April Cilione

I was privileged to know Bob from the harness track. Always a smile, and happy to do anything he could. He will be greatly missed. RIP, Bob
