I served with “Wally” (our nickname for him. Not sure how he got it.) on the USS Hunley, AS-31 when it was based in Guam. We had plenty of good times together. I always enjoyed his stories and hanging out with him. He was quite a character. He also introduced me to a lot of the great music of those early 70s. Thanks Wally. RIP.
