Our family met Mr. and Mrs. Powers twenty years ago, walking down Adirondack Lake Road on a snowy winter night when we bought our cabin. In that time we got to know their routine - of morning and evening walks no matter the weather, of late afternoon boat trips, and of evening dessert. We loved how full their house was of the things they had made, the dogs they were supporting, the care they showed for each other, and love for everyone on the street. We're so grateful to have known them, and our lives are better for it. Our deepest condolences go to the Powers family - and gratitude, for sharing Mr. Powers with all of us. We will miss him.

I'm grateful to have gotten the chance to know Mr. Powers however briefly - I enjoyed the time I spent with him. He was very charming and made me laugh. He was so special - he will be greatly missed.
