Lake Luzerne
Norman R. Lawrence, 67, of Gailey Hill Rd., passed away Wednesday evening, March 20, 2024, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on June 6, 1956, in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Norma (Eddy) Lawrence.
Norm worked as a mechanic for the Town of Lake Luzerne for over 30 years.
He enjoyed playing guitar, tinkering with engines, and fixing just about anything. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved spending time with them. Norm will be remembered as a kind and generous man who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed assistance.
He was predeceased by his parents, a son, Jay Lawrence and a sister, Anita Lawrence.
Survivors include his children: Norman Lawrence, Jr. of Florida, Paul (Roseanne) Springer of Hadley and Jean (Barrett) Spring of Hadley; his grandchildren: Lindsey Lawrence, Evan Spring, Mya Spring, Freya Springer, Brooklyn Lawrence, Nora Spring, and Faeryn Springer; siblings: Donald Corie of North Creek and Muriel “Mimi” Lawrence of Holly Springs, NC; his former wife and mother of his children, Kimberly Amell of Lake Luzerne; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. – 1p.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.
Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home.
Private burial will be in Luzerne Cemetery, Lake Luzerne.
