Mary E. Moss, 67, of Big Brook Rd., passed away suddenly, Saturday afternoon, February 1, 2025.
Born on October 1, 1957, in White Plains, she was the daughter of Jeanette (Cooke) McCarthy Turner and the late Charles McCarthy.
She married John Moss on February 14, 1998, in Indian Lake. John passed away on October 31, 2023, following 25 years of marriage.
Mary was a loving caregiver to many children in Indian Lake. She had also worked as a housekeeper for several years.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, and spending time with her beloved family.
Survivors include her mother, Jeanette “Jean” Turner of Warrensburg; three daughters: Shannon (Bill) LaPrairie of Indian Lake, Carrie (Chuck) Frost of Long Lake, Jennifer (Jim) Zumpano of Indian Lake; seven grandchildren: Allison, Emily, Steven, Victoria, Matthew, Jimmy, and Olivia; seven great grandchildren: Michael, Nathan, Paisley, Jack, Henry, Louis, and Levi; One sister, Ellen (Charlie) King of Indian Lake; one brother, Eugene McCarthy of Queensbury.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there are no services scheduled.
