Long Lake
Mary E. Hartle, 90, passed away Sunday evening, December 24, 2023, at Wesley Health Center, Saratoga Springs.
Born on February 20, 1933, in Long Lake, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Helen (Mercier) Wilson. She was a graduate of Long Lake Central School.
She married Bill Hartle on May 30, 1952, in Loudonville. Bill passed away in May of 2001.
Mary enjoyed reading and entertaining friends and family. She had an “open door policy” at their home. They often had several friends of theirs or their children’s friends there for dinners of visits on the dock. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Abenaque Chapter #745, Long Lake, and a member of the Long Lake United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children: Eileen (William) Kuchta of Prospect, KY, David (Patricia) Hartle of Moreau, James (Darlene Ross) Hartle of Clifton Park, Jeffrey (Heather) Hartle of Burnt Hills; grandchildren: Stephen (Katherine) Kuchta, Nathan (Rebecca) Kuchta, Kathleen Hartle, Lindsay (Larry) Downing, Jodi (Nick) Luxford, Brian (Stephanie) Hartle, Jamie (Neal) Grah, Kaitlyn and Emily Hartle; great grandchildren: Grant, Beecher, Whit, Graham, Jonathon, Eloise, Evie, Liam, and Mila Jade; a great-great grandson, Carlos; sister, Nancy Lance of South Carolina and Thomas (Sheila) Wilson of Plattsburgh; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Long Lake Cemetery.
