George and I joined West Mountain ski patrol in 1969. Our family, two boys, grew up at West Mountain. It was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed all of the Brant family while we were there. Mary was wonderful and so was Mike. Mary was one of the most creative and artistic people I ever met. She was always there for her kids and her family. Our condolences for her children. She will be missed.

Mary was my closest friend, my fellow Midwesterner and Hadley resident. (sorry I moved there before you did, Mary! You never let me forget that) I am not processing your passing...I can only imagine what Bill. Betsy, Susie, Betsy and Tina must feel! And I am keeping your voice mails. Your kindness and wisdom kept me going. Especially after Harry passed. I will miss you every day!! And when the moon is full...I will certainly think of you!

Mary, wherever you are, thank you. Thank you for being BRAVE, BOLD, KIND, PROUD, COURAGEOUS, FIERCE, STRONG, DETERMINED, INSPIRING, a hell of a lot of fun, and always LOVED.
Susie, Betsy and Andy, Tina and John, and Bill, this is how I will always remember her.
My aching heart goes out to you.
