Peggy Bell, age 89, passed away on Wednesday October 19th, 2022, at Fort Hudson Nursing Center. Born on February 6, 1933, in Port Chester, NY she was the daughter of Randolph Hearst Tomlinson of Tampa, FL and Helen (Judge) Tomlinson, of County Galway, Ireland.

She graduated from Port Chester High School in 1950.

Peggy and Dr. James B. Bell were married on April 14, 1955. Together they raised four boys in Niskayuna, NY.

Peggy earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from SUNYA, after her children were grown.

She had many hobbies including Art, cooking, traveling, photography, downhill skiing, swimming, reading, and listening to music.

Survivors include her sons, James H. (Colleen) Bell, Dr. Michael (Linda) Bell, John S. Bell, Joseph G. (Beth) Bell and grandchildren: Courtney, Marissa, Amanda, Christopher, Connor, Brendan and Leah.

In keeping with Peggy’s wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
