I was saddened to hear of Marcia’s passing and extend my condolences to her family. Our early childhood was spent in the same neighborhood separated only by a large field. Throughout the seasons we spent time in the fields, woods and trees. Reluctant to go inside from our snow forts in winter, singing Christmas Carols as loud as we could as the snow fell. Playing ball in the summer, running through Poppy’s garden in the fall when the harvest was over. Marcia was as generous in her friendship as her Poppy was with his yield from his garden to my family. I remember our school years just sharing locker chatter between classes. Perpetual smile and lots of giggles will be the Marcia that I will remember.
