Lake Luzerne
Linda S. Winslow, 76, of River Rd., passed away Sunday morning, January 26, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 28, 1948, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Rolland and Mary (Crannell) Gumprecht.
She married James Winslow on August 23, 1969, in Lake Luzerne. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage.
Linda had worked at Stone’s Pharmacy, Agway in Hadley and worked many years at Luzerne Market in Lake Luzerne prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed word search puzzles and plastic canvas needle work. She had served as a 4H leader. Most important to Linda was her family. She looked forward to family game night and any family gathering. She also enjoyed the trips to Maine, Tennessee, and Florida she took with Jim.
Survivors include her loving husband, James Winslow; two daughters: Jodie (Dan) Plude of Lake Luzerne, Lori (Hollis) Springer of Gansevoort; grandchildren: Kristen (Adam) Sheerer, Kendra (Howard) Livingston, Deven Springer, Hollis Springer III, Collin Springer, Nathan (Kristen) Springer, and Julie Springer; great grandchildren: Tanner, Hunter, Carter, Addison, Connor, Cameron, Carson, Callie, Bella, Eli, Scarlett, Jaxson, Jasper; two sisters: Jean (Ronald) Pieringer of Florida and Nancy (William) Moffitt of Lake Luzerne; several nieces and nephews.
Private burial will be in Luzerne Cemetery, Lake Luzerne.
