Lenore F. Petersen, 88, passed away Wednesday morning, December 27, 2023, at Elderwood at North Creek.

Born on February 3, 1935, in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Smith) Brennan.  She worked in security at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie for several years.  She moved to this area in 2022 from Hancock, NY.

She was an outdoors enthusiast who enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and camping.  She also enjoyed crafting.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Thomas Tully; second husband, Arthur Petersen; a son, Gregory Pensiero; brother, David Murray, and sister, Normadine Varland.

Survivors include her children: Carol (Joe) Plew of Stony Creek and Thomas C. (Theresa)Tully, Jr. of Hancock, NY; sister, Maureen Lashlee of Poughkeepsie; stepsister, Margaret Brennan of FL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at St. Joachim Church, Beacon, NY.
