Larry DeRubbo

Larry DeRubbo of Corinth (Day), NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Born May 29, 1945, in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph and Elsie (Matura) DeRubbo.  He is survived by his wife, Teri, four children; Lori Smith (Darrin), Jeffrey DeRubbo (Kerry), Jessica DeRubbo (Matt), and Daniel DeRubbo (Elaine).  Also three grandchildren; Andrew Smith, Kyle Smith and Genevieve DeRubbo.  In addition, two stepchildren; Heather Duben (Christian), Shelly Calease (Jared) and four step grandchildren; Gabriella and Zachary Duben, and Finley and Willow Calease.

A world traveler and business executive, Larry lived a full life with a passion for music, travel, business, and humor.  A lover of life, he radiated great joy and enthusiasm by either sharing his music in a group setting or by demonstrating his ability to revitalize large manufacturing companies.

He was educated at Paul Smiths College, Monmouth University and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as General Electric’s Manufacturing Management Program.  He was President of select manufacturing companies, retiring at an early age from his own multi-national corporation to his beloved Great Sacandaga Lake.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
