Kay F. Harris, 87, of Adirondack Lake Road, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, May 20, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on January 20, 1937, in Oak Hill, WV, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Carrie (Hitt) Speer.

Kay married Robert Harris on October 29, 1960, in New Jersey.  They moved permanently to Indian Lake on November 30, 1994.

Kay enjoyed sewing and traveling.  She and Robert had visited all 50 states, most of Europe and Canada.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert Harris; their children: Robert Harris of Bohemia, NY, Lynn Piccoli of Lakeland, FL, Sharon (Thomas) Tener of Amityville; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, plus one soon to be born; siblings: Sharon Turlington of Fort Pierce, FL, Denise Maceria of Mullica Hill, NJ, James (Kim) Speer of Vineland, NJ; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, 6357 State Route 30, Indian Lake.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. the visitation at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Benton Cemetery, Indian Lake.

Following the interment, there will be a celebration of Kay’s life at the Parker Benton American Legion Post.
