Long Lake
June Musmerci, 78, of Clear Pond Way, passed away Thursday morning, September 9, 2021 at Glens Falls Hospital with her family at her side.
Born on June 29, 1943 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jessie Belding. She was a graduate of Arlington High School in Poughkeepsie, NY.
She moved to Long Lake in 1979 and began a 25-year career at Sunmount Developmental Center in Tupper Lake, NY. She served as the director of the Senior Companion and the Foster Grandparent Program.
She enjoyed dancing to the oldies, crafts, boating and spending time with her family. June was a member of the Long Lake Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, James Johns, her daughter, Karen Gray, Grandchildren Jessica and Adam Merindino and Jeremiah Gray; and a brother David Belding of San Francisco, CA.
