Jane B. Rogers, 104, passed away peacefully Monday, August 19th, at the home of her granddaughter, Jane (Rob) Phillips in Quincy, IL.
Born on March 18, 1920, in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Carlson) Brumagim.
She married Spencer W. Rogers on January 2, 1945. Mr. Rogers passed away on January 19, 1994.
Jane worked as a teacher for 35 years in both Florida and then for the Syracuse City Schools.
She enjoyed reading, traveling and had a special love for dogs and horses.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Alene Husson; two stepsons, George “Bud” Rogers and Doug Rogers and a grandson, Dave Rogers.
Survivors include her grandchildren: Jane (Rob) Phillips, James (Holly) Stepp, Gary (Alina) Rogers, Linda Ball; daughter-in-law, Irene Rogers; granddaughter-in-law, Sonia Rogers; great grandchildren: Johnny Rogers, Victoria Clair, Megan Ball, Elizabeth Phillips, Robby Phillips and Jacob Phillips, Cael Stepp, Ruby Jane Stepp and Gerry Stepp; son-in-law, Gerald Husson.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Cedar River Cemetery, Indian Lake.
