Jane M. Lattimore, 81, passed away Wednesday evening, December 31, 2025, at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 17, 1944, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Ernestine Edra (Doty) Lattimore. She was a 1962 graduate of Glens Falls High School and had attended Adirondack Community College.

Jane had a very strong work ethic and worked for many years in the insurance industry, retiring from Allstate Insurance Company in Glens Falls.  

She enjoyed baking, reading, history, going for walks, being outdoors but above all, she treasured the time she spent with her granddaughters, especially their trips to the ocean at Cape Cod.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Donald Lattimore.

Survivors include her daughter: Melinda (Ray) Wood of Corinth and a son, Daniel A. Andrus of Glens Falls; two granddaughters: Madelyn Rose Wood and Hannah Grace Wood; a niece, Pamela Lattimore; a nephew, Scott Lattimore, and several cousins.

In keeping with Jane’s wishes, there are no public services scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane’s memory may be made to the Crandall Public Library, 251 Glen St., Glens Falls, NY 12801.
