Lake Luzerne
Jacob Q. Loya, 38, of Lake Ave., passed away at his home unexpectedly due to a brief illness.
Born on December 21, 1986 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of William P. Loya and the late Linda M. (Emery) Loya. He was a 2005 graduate of Corinth Central School. He enlisted in the United States Navy following graduation. Upon his honorable discharge from the Navy, Jacob attended ITT Technical School.
He was employed as a IT manager at CB-20 in Clifton Park for over nine years.
Jacob enjoyed playing video games, fishing, cars and football. When Jacob wasn’t busy at work he loved time with all of his family, friends, and loved ones. He always enjoyed goofing off with his nephews, and his niece, kids always loved him. You could find him outside BBQ’ing up some nice steaks, for the family or just for himself to enjoy. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, and wasn’t bad at dessert either!
He was predeceased by his mother.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, William P. And Anna (Johnson) Loya of Myrtle Beach, SC; siblings: William D. Loya of Corinth, Joyce Bartholomew of Corinth, Zachary T. Loya of Newington, CT; step siblings: Christopher Johnson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sarah Swartz of Myrtle Beach,SC Emily Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC, Karina Thomas of Stony Creek; nieces and nephews: Ethan and Brayden Loya, Colin and Ryan Bartholomew, Austin Loya and Kloee Cormack. Several Aunts and Uncles, and one special little girl, Payton.
Friends may call Saturday, March 22,2025 from 2-4 p.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.
