Ira Harrison

Ira Harrison, 84, of Route 30, passed away Monday morning, December 30, 2024 at his home.

Born on March 29, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to Ira and Claudine Harrison.

He was a dapper gentleman who loved music.  Quiet but always with a smile on his face.  He often tapped his feet to the beat whenever music was playing.  He spent over 20 years with Susan Scantleberry Family Care in Piseco prior to moving to the Rt. 30 house in 2013 when she retired.  He loved to sit around people and listen to conversations.  Very easy going, rarely upset or cross.  Friend and former staff member, Sandi Clement, became his advocate. He was just a very easy, go with the flow.  He enjoyed going to concerts and other activities at the school with staff.

Burial took place Tuesday, January 2, 2025 in Benton Cemetery, Indian Lake.
