Gregory Kentile, 55, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at his home in Winter Haven, FL.
Born on June 28, 1967, in Syracuse, he was the son of Robert and Helen Kentile (Sylvester). He was a 1986 graduate of Long Lake Central School and SUNY Morrisville. Greg was involved in all sports in high school, an avid skier, he spent several years on the Ski Patrol at Whiteface Mountain and Killington, VT.
He was a skilled tradesman, having remodeled several homes in the Syracuse area. He was also a licensed building inspector.
He was a graduate of NTTS (National Tractor Trailer School). He drove long distance for several years before moving to Florida where he was semi-retired.
He loved the Adirondacks and standing around a campfire with family and friends. We loved him and he is missed.
He is survived by his parents: Robert and Helen Kentile of Long Lake; two brothers: Mark Kentile of Richfield Springs and Daniel (Shelléy) Kentile of Ilion; nephews: Adam, Evan and Nathan Kentile and niece, Megan Kentile.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 203 at St. Henry's Church, Long Lake.
Burial will be in Long Lake Cemetery.
