Finley David Morrow Junior 89 of Indian, Lake New York passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 12, 2025.
Born on January 12, 1936 in Violet North Carolina. He was the son of the late Finley David and Edith Morrow.
Brother to Marvin, Grady, Bob, Cottis, Billy, Vera and Dotty.
He was a self-employed general contractor in New Jersey for most of his life.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be remembered for his kindness, giving heart, work ethic, and sense of humor. He was an avid outdoorsman who found his greatest joy in the woods and on the water, whether hunting at dawn or fishing as the sun set. He cherished the peace of nature and the memories made alongside his son, Shawn and friends, especially at Camp 4 Pointer These moments were where he felt most at home.
He is survived by his beautiful wife, Patricia (Reilly) of 68 years and his three children, Donna Weber and husband, Jeff, Shawn Morrow and wife Cindy, and Beth Sylvester and husband Lou. His grandchildren;, Melissa, Michael, Danny, Autumn, David, Brad, Brianna, Sam and Kyle and 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call, Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Miller Funeral Home in Indian Lake from 10am to 1 pm. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 1 p.m.. Private burial service for family members immediately following. A repast will be held directly after the service at the Indian Lake restaurant to celebrate Dave’s life the way he would have wanted: with good food, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Indian Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corp. . He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in every quiet sunrise, flowing river and the beautiful Adirondack mountains.
