Elizabeth A. Cannan, 62, of Route 30, passed away Friday morning, October 31, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness.
Born on May 18, 1963, in Selden, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert and Camilla (DelGuidece) Buchanan. She was a graduate of Newfield High School and attended Paul Smith’s College.
On October 5, 1996, she married the love of her life, Kenneth S. Cannan. Kenny died on May 11, 2022.
Elizabeth had been employed as a manager at Stewart’s in Indian Lake for several years.
She enjoyed the beach (flip-flops and flamingos), riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, boating, and traveling. She had visited 17 countries and 38 states.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include her brother, Robert Buchanan of Middle Island; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Beverly Cannan; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025 at Miller Funeral Home, 6357 State Route 30. Prayers will be offered at 5 p.m. by Fr. Philip Allen.
