Our sincere condolences to Doug's family. I did not know Doug, however we shared early growing up experiences as we lived in the same house in Hadley, of course at different times.  I did, however know Doug's Grandfather Ray, his dad Bud and mom Violet. My family left in my sixth grade for a year, only to return to live across the driveway over the Niagara Mohawk garage until 1955.  I saw this family daily for years and knew Jim and Janet and watched them grow up.  When I left for Lake Luzerne, I gave many of my boyhood toys to the Swart family and I hope they had as much fun with them as I had. It is always sad to see folks depart from us, and I feel for Doug's family.  I wanted them to know that someone cared, and acknowledged their life.  I'm sure this man will be missed.  Sincerely, Bob&Barbara Palmer, The Villages, Florida

We went thru school together while having some great times.  I seen Doug for the first time in 40 years.  Wish I took the time to stop and visit.  RIP Doug.
