Diane Butchino, 82, of Third Ave. Ext., passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on November 19, 1941, in Day, she was the daughter of the late Enos and Helen (Weldon) Johnson. She married Ronald Butchino on November 19, 1966, at Holy Infancy Church in Lake Luzerne.
Diane had worked for a brief time in the 1960’s as a secretary for Niagara Mohawk in Warrensburg. She then worked alongside her husband as caretakers of the Gooley Club in Newcomb for many years, retiring in 1995.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Hadley.
She loved all animals and enjoyed watching the wildlife in her yard.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ronald Butchino; her siblings: Joan Hall, Rollin E. Johnson and Samuel Johnson and a niece, Carrie Jane Hall.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In accordance with Diane’s wishes, there are no services scheduled.
