Diane C. Benton

I knew Diane, or should I say Cookie for many years as I was a staff person at Timberlock.  She was not only a wonderful cook/chef but a very kind, caring and generous person who could and would do anything to help out.  One of my favorite memories was a time that I gave her a ride in my new to me boat, with a less than reliable outboard.  We almost made it back to Timberlock before the motor gave out.  With only 1 paddle we had to switch  back and forth, and yet somehow we both ended up laughing so hard we nearly fell out of the boat.  Not a great ride, but a wonderful memory.  We will surely miss you Diane!!

I am always Grateful for Diane in my life and memories. Her capacity to see the sunshine 🌞through the storm ⛈...She was a HUGE part in my life growing up “wild” w My Benton’s on Crow Hill. So much love for her and her contribution to my life!

My best memories of Diane are when I baby-sat for her & Frank when I was a young teen-ager.  She'd pile everyone in the car & we'd go swimming at the Old Swimming Hole at night w/ the lights shining on the water & the fog rose in the air since the water was warmer. When there were hpuse fires we'd zoom after the fire trucks & park out of the way & watch.. I  was thrilled when she let me wear a long negligee & matching robe because she told me I looked like a queen
☺ She definitely had many help-ful hints that always make me think of her when I  utilize them..RIP Diane.🕇💜
