Desireé L. Brownell, 48, of Fox Hill Rd., passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at her home. Born on October 25, 1977, in Gloversville she was the daughter of Porter Leland and Joan (Bennett)
Brownell. She was a graduate of Northville Central School. Desireé worked the majority of her adult life at the family business, Ponderosa Pines
Campgrounds and Resort in Edinburg. She loved animals, especially her cats and dogs. She loved to go to amusement parks, fairs with her family, and concerts with her friends. She also enjoyed going to Watercross races in Tug Hill,
and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She is survived by her children: Alexa Poulin of Northville and Austin Brownell of Edinburg; her parents, Porter and Joan Brownell of Edinburg; a brother: Todd (Rebecca) Brownell of Northville; half-brothers: Paul (Pam) Kniskern of Ballston Spa and Ron Kniskern (Jessica Gilbert-Kniskern) of
Ballston Spa; Her aunt, Sandra Brownell of San Diego, California along with an abundance of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Ponderosa Pines Saturday, June 27th at a time to be announced.
