Lake Luzerne
Charlotte M. Wisell, 95, of Lake Ave., passed away Tuesday evening, August 26, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital following a brief illness.
Born on June 18, 1930, in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Helen Doris (Burtnett) Wolfe.
She married Cloyde “Bud” Wisell on September 5, 1948. Bud passed away on July 16, 2010, following 61 years of marriage.
Charlotte enjoyed bird watching, sewing, wood crafts, upholstery, reading, gardening, her Yorkie, Gia and her cat, Tigger. Her greatest joy was her family. She had served as a Cub Scout leader and assistant Girl Scout Leader.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Dean Parker Wisell, a son, Daniel S. Wisell; grandson, Daniel K. Wisell; her siblings: Frank, Helen, Ella Mae, Dorothy, William, Raymond, George, Anna, and Alice.
Survivors include her daughters: Audrey (Darian) Means of Dewey, AZ, Dawn (Jim) Bovee of Lake Luzerne; grandchild: Jolene (Sam) Hammill of Hadley, Step-grandchildren: Paulette (Adam) Smead, and J.T. Bovee; great grandchildren: Madeline (Mike) Sharretto, Morgan Hammill, Alexis Hammill and Lucas Hammill; great-great grandchildren: Scarlett Sharretto, Violet Sharretto, Waylon Tyrell; as well as several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, step grandchildren, step great grand children and extended family.
In keeping with Charlotte’s wishes, there are no services scheduled.
