Long Lake
Cecile A. Iffert, 74, of South Hill Rd., passed away Friday morning, November 14, 2025, at her home.
Born on January 11, 1951, in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Cecile Karlescent.
She married Kenneth Iffert on August 26, 1989, in Rome, NY.
Cecile had worked as store manager for various department stores including McCory’s in Whitesboro and JJ Newbury’s in Walton and later Saranac Lake. She and Ken operated souvenir stores in Cape Vincent and Clayton, NY.
She enjoyed ceramics and painting.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Tom, stepbrother, Tom; father -in-law, Eugene Iffert, mother-in-law, Margaret Iffert; brothers-in-law, William and Thomas Iffert; a nephew, Gerard.
Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Ken Iffert; a daughter, Tammy Vincenzio; a stepson, Michael (Shelley) Iffert; grandchildren, Cecile Margaret Iffert, Dawson, Emma, and Jamin Duell: sisters: Betty, Roxanne, Patricia “Red” and her husband Ricky; a brother-in-law, James (Linda) Iffert; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 6357 Route 30, Indian Lake.
Graveside service will follow in Long Lake Cemetery, Long Lake.
