Catherine M. Bennett, 70, of Stewart Bridge Rd., passed away Monday morning, April 28, 2025 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born on April 2, 1955 in Corinth, she was the daughter of the late John and Rachel (LaPier) Sherman.  She attended Hadley Luzerne Central School.

Catherine worked for many years as a chef at the Holiday Inn in Lake George for many years.

She enjoyed playing Angry Birds on her phone, sitting on her porch enjoying the weather, cooking, shopping, and taking drives in the county.

She is predeceased by her parents and siblings: Beverly Morris, Rose Ball, Albert Sherman, Walter Sherman,  Bobby Sherman, Sally Ann Sherman, and Clyde Sherman.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Warren Bennett; one daughter, Loretta Bennett of Woodbridge, VA; one son, Warren Bennett of Hadley; one grandson, Lionel Richards of Lake George; a sister, Joyce Sherman of Lake Luzerne; two brothers, Clarence Sherman of Wilton and Johnny Sherman of Hinesburg, VT; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, May 2, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.
