Mrs. Wakley-mom was always so happy and positive. My girls loved coming up and sitting and talking with her for hours. She will be missed and we will always think of her. We thought of her as another grandmom❤️, she was such a special person.

Barb was a beautiful lady inside and out. I remember the first day I started working at Adirondack Tri-County NH and the genuine welcome she gave me. We worked together for many years and I admired her kindness and patience to all who she came in contact with her. She was always a beacon of strength and stability as she manned the nursing unit. I was blessed to have been able to visit her before her passing and to share with her some memories of the old days and letting her know how much she meant to me. My sincere condolences to all the family. Although we have not met I fondly remember all the warm stories she shared of her loving children and grandchildren. Barb will be missed many.

I have known Barb since 1981 when I began rounding at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home in North Creek. She became head nurse soon after and I always looked forward to working with her there. She was always very compassionate and dedicated, yet easy-going- a wonderful combination that put her co-workers and patients at ease.  Barb, and her husband Bob, were two of the nicest Indian Lakers I have had the pleasure to know, and she will be missed by her family and everyone who has known her. I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to Belinda, Robert and the rest of Barb's great family.

Our sister in law, Barbara, was always a good wife and mother. She raised five children with Bob and did an excellent job creating a loving family. It was no picnic and required a lot of dedication, love and hard work considering Bob was an independent carpenter and income was sporadic. In later years we became neighbors and it was so nice having her next door. Every morning we would have a phone conversation exchanging information on the local news. We shall miss her.
Rest in Peace in God's arms Barb.    Fran and Frank
