Amanda M. Baker

Amanda M Baker (Mommy’s Mandy Bear) 39, of 63 Hughes Road Hadley, passed away Friday evening February 13th 2026, at Westchester County Medical Center, following a short illness. Born December 16th 1986, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Helen Hughes-Baker (LIsa Reyonlds) of Hadley and Craig Baker (Diedre) of Thurman. She was a graduate of Warrensburg High School. She worked as a medical receptionist for Saratoga Surgery Center for several years. Also worked at Terrace at the Glen Eddy in Niskayuna for several years. Amanda enjoyed shopping, making gift baskets, snowmobiling, cooking, making sweet treats to share with family on special occasions, and spending time with her children and family. Amanda was predeceased by her maternal Grandmother, June Hughes of Hadley and paternal Grandparents Sharky Baker of Warrensburg and Jasmine Baker of Warrensburg.

Survivors include her Children Rexford Rounds of Hadley, Marlee Brainard of Queensbury, and Noelle Baum of Hadley. Siblings include Michael Williams ( Daughter Mila) of Boston Mass, Courtney (Eddie) Byrnes (Children Mason & Kyla) of Glens Falls, Kylie (Thomas) Donahue (Children Oliva & Autumn) of Brant Lake, Catlynn Hughes (Marcus Marns) (Children Bailee & AnnaLee) of Stony Creek, Dana Barrett (Austin Rowinski) of Rotterdam. Maternal Grandfather Thomas Hughes or Hadley. 

Friends may call Friday February 20th 2026 From 2-4pm at the Brewer Funeral Home inc. 24 Church St Lake Luzerne. Funeral services will be immediately following the visitation at 4pm.

Following the funeral service, a Family and Friends gathering will be at the American Legion, Lake Ave in Lake Luzerne.
