Paula,
So truly sorry for the loss of your dear mother. She worked so hard all of her life and was so very proud of you. She was a great neighbor and friend to all on Lenox Avenue.
I know that you have devoted many years loving and taking good care of your mom. I know that this must have been very difficult yet so rewarding.
On behalf of my entire family, we send you our love and prayers.
All my love,
Mary Mastrianni Cullinan

Thank you Mary! Appreciate the kind words about my mom and yes a sad but rewarding time. Glad to have been able to help her directly over these last years and to live the way she wanted until her passing. Thank you to all your family for thinking of us at this time as well.

Paula, my deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your mom. My (and your) cousin Peter alerted me to her passing. I lost my mom (Ruth) almost exactly 4 years ago now, and I know how hard this is for you. Your father was my most beloved relation, and my mom said I'm just like Sam. I'm sorry I was never able to meet your mom, or you, despite our proximities in Albany and now it seems, South Carolina as well.  May God ease your pain at this difficult time.

Hi Robert, Thank you for your sincere sympathies regarding Pauline's recent passing.  Very much appreciated and yes it is difficult although was expected. She lived a long and happy life and grateful for the time we did have!  If you read this I did find their wedding album in the attic a few years ago and have those pictures and a really nice newspaper article about Sam coming home from the war in the 40's.  Would be nice to connect with you as well.
