Hadley
Kimberly A. Sloma, 53, of Route 9N, passed away Sunday morning, May 27, 2018 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on May 2, 1965 in Corinth, she was the daughter of Terry Bovee and the late Roberta (Barrett) Bovee. She was a 1983 graduate of Hadley Luzerne Central School.
Kim enjoyed camping, fishing, tubing, horseshoes and family gatherings. Above all, she loved being a mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her mother, Roberta Bovee.
Survivors include her father: Terry Bovee of Hadley; her children: Amanda (Jeffrey) Burney of Bowersville, GA, Nicholas of Boxborough, MA and Emily Sloma of Hadley; the father of her children, Andrew Sloma of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren: Bryson Burney, Charlotte Van Zandt, Isabella Burney and Brooklynn Burney; her sister: Melinda (Eric) Nitsche of Lake Luzerne; her nieces: Gwendolyn and Katlyn; her nephew: Daniel; as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Luzerne Cemetery, Lake Luzerne.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kim’s memory may be directed to her father, Terry Bovee, 6257 State Rte. 9N, Hadley, NY 12835 to help defray funeral expenses.
