Though I never met Kate, the description of her life and spirit has me feeling that it would have been such a privilege to be in her life. Her passing is a great loss for the community and those who knew her. No doubt she will remain close in many peoples' hearts.

My condolences. She was my 2nd cousin, and we were at Ithaca College together. She was always kind-hearted and outgoing. She kept in touch with my mother for many years, and I know my mom appreciated that.

Karin, Ellen, and Sean: All the Tennessee Currys offer our sincere condolences for this huge loss to your family. I know this must be heartbreaking for all of you. Kate was certainly one of a kind and I'm so grateful we got reacquainted when I visited in '09 and '13. Her kindness to me and the rest of our family will forever be remembered. Kate and I enjoyed each other immensely. We both loved telling a funny story, possessed very strong opinions and loved to laugh. Blue Mountain Lake will not be the same without you...... Godspeed, cousin Kate....

Dear Ellen, Karin and Sean: We learned today from Crystal at St. Joseph's Hospital that Katy had passed away. Our condolences to the three of you and the whole family. We will always remember the time that we visited Orpha at Blue Mountain Lake and met Ellen and Katy and, of course, all the collies and corgis. What a wonderful visit. Then several years later after your mother passed away we stayed overnight at your house, had a lot of conversation and laughs. Wished you folks were able to have visited our rented camp in Old Forge. Katy went through much in the past several years and I am sure she offered up to the Lord her suffering which then made her suffering Sacramental. We gather from her obituary that she certainly had a full life. Now Katy has reached the Home she was meant for and in due time you folks will be reunited with her. God Bless all of you. Love, Cousin Jim and Terry Dooher
