Kay Gatchell, 84, of Burnsville, NC passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Mountain Manor Assisted Living. A native of Upstate New York, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Martina Shaw. Kay was a former resident of Florida and a retired supervisor with AT&T and a member of The Pioneer Club..

Surviving are her sons: George Baker and wife, Karen, of Sumter, SC, Bruce Baker and wife, Joan, of South Glens Falls, NY, Jim Baker of Green Mountain, NC and Steve Baker of Dunnellon, FL; a granddaughter; 2 grandsons; 5 great grandchildren and, 4 sisters: Charlotte Lewis and Lynn Brennen, both of South Glens Falls, NY and Betty Anderson and Gail DeSorbe, both of Queensbury, NY.

Burial will take place in the spring in Holy Infancy Cemetery, Lake Luzerne.
