Dear Al & family,
I was very sorry to see that Mrs. Z passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences . I will remember her in my prayers.

To Al and family; please know that Barbara and I are thinking of all of you at this trying time. Joan and Al were two of our outstanding teachers at HLCS.  I've known Joan my whole life since moving to Hadley in the forties. It has been our pleasure knowing and visiting with Joan over the years.  Peace be with you friends.  Fondly, Bob&Barbara Palmer 

Al and Joan sat  in church in the pew in front of my husband and I for many years.  She always said hello in a warm and welcoming way.

Al, so saddened to hear of Joan's passing.  Both of you have been a bed rock to our community for all their lives and will not be forgotten to say the least. Our prayers go out to the family and our sincerest sympathy, Carol/Mike Berliner

Will always remember seeing Joan and Al walking down Main Street on the way to the tennis courts. Usually see you outside at your house next to Min Archards house on the corner. Keep well Al and I will always remember you both! First met  you Al when I was pumping gas at Bishop's Sunoco for many years! You folks are the best of Hadley and Luzerne indeed!
