How grateful I am that God led the Bozaks to Long Lake. Greg's dad, Marty encouraged my dad to go to a men's bible study! Shortly thereafter dad gave his life to Jesus. My mom was a little slower to respond, but made the decision about 6 months later! My friendship with Greg was more from his side as he and a few other teen boys reached out to me and shared the love of God challenging me to follow my parents. However, for a couple years I held back. It wasn't until I was a freshmen in college that I have my life to God fully. Through the years following, my friendship with Greg totally changed and I came to know and love him as a brother in Christ. We got to serve side by side in Long Lake for a few years too. Those were blessed year for me. I spent loads of hours with Greg at "the Garage" tinkering on my cars and snowmobiles. He went on long trips with me to keep me company and simply was a great brother in Christ. The entire Bozak Family has had wonderful impact on my families life. I'm forever grateful to each of them for how they reached out to my parents, and to me... As my own children became teens a few of them followed my interests in cars and sure enough found a helping hand at "the Garage." Greg was there to not only work on their car, but in a subtle yet powerful way he tinkered on their lives too. "The Garage" was as much about fixing and adjusting people's understanding of who God is, as it was about fixing our cars. Their whole family felt that way... and Greg surely was a huge party of that. I'll miss you Greg, but everytime I tinker on one of my cars, or my children's cars, a smile on my face and the joy in my heart will remind me of you and more importantly of the Jesus I came to love in part due to your faith in Him. Thank you Greg for living life to the fullest.
