Eva H. Koenig

I was Eva's pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Corinth and leader of the Alzheimer Caregiver's support group she attended. My wife is a Swedish-Finn so we shared the European connection as well. Eva worshiped regularly with us and also participated in our Pentecost and World Communion services by reading scriptures in German. She was a wonderful person, a great friend to us and a caring wife to Hans in his fading years. She was dignified, friendly and loving. We will miss her - but expect to see her again. Go with God, Eva.

To the family of Eva Koenig, It was truly a pleasure to become friends with Eva for the short time that she lived in Fort Edward. We were always appreciative of her language lessons prior to our family trip to Germany in 2008. We have thought of her often after she returned to Germany and we had enjoyed the photos and notes that she had sent to us after she returned to her native home.
