Elizabeth L.(Bette) Blunt, 92, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Glens Falls Hospital. 

Born on November 11, 1925 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Mary (Miller) Littlejohn.  

She was employed as a secretary for Hartline Products in Cleveland, Ohio. She and her husband, William, moved to Glens Falls following his retirement in 1980.

She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Lake George.

Elizabeth enjoyed her time volunteering at The Chapman Museum, Meals on Wheels and many activities with her church St. James Episcopal in Lake George NY. 

She  was a devoted grandmother,  never missing a baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball or football game if she could help it ..  Bette also enjoyed looking at pictures of Erin’s dog Oakley. 

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband William, who died on January 9, 1988.

Survivors include her children, William Blunt and his wife MaryLee of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Stephen Blunt and his wife Tracey of Kattskill Bay, NY,  Barbara Blunt of Raleigh, NC and Susan Egan of Rockwall Tx. 6 grandchildren, Angela Rogers ,Chris and Clay Blunt, Katie Wood , Erin and Will Blunt and 8 great grandchildren. 

In keeping with Bette's wishes, there are no calling hours scheduled. The family will have a private memorial. 

The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home for the devoted care she received. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions in Elizabeth’s memory be directed to St. James Episcopal Church in Lake George NY.
