Dylan Jay Smith, 33, of Chiswell Rd., passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at home.

He was born on September 20, 1985 in Glens Falls and was a 2003 graduate of Indian Lake Central School. He attended SUNY Potsdam and Schenectady County Community College studying art.

Dylan was passionate about art.  He enjoyed drawing, flowers, painting watercolors, and writing poetry.  He had a lifelong love of all animals, especially cats and dogs.

He is survived by his mother, Laura Smith of Schenectady; his brother, Joshua (Felicitas) Smith of Fullerton, California; His young niece, Kira Mae Smith; his aunts, uncles and his cousins Chelsea, Emily, and Allison.  

Friends may call Friday from 1-2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 6357 NYS Rte. 30, Indian Lake.

Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Cedar River Cemetery, Indian Lake.
