David M. Curl, 66, of Call St., passed away Saturday evening, October 6, 2018 following a long illness.

Born on September 5, 1952 in Hot Springs, SD, he was the son of the late Charles Curl and Wilma (Benson) Moran.  He had served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and had earned the National Defense Service Medal prior to his honorable discharge in 1973.

Dave married Tina O’Connell on January 27, 1990 in Corinth.

He had worked as a truck driver and as a vehicle inspector.

Dave’s enjoyments included music, fishing and “tinkering” in the shed.

He was predeceased by his parents; a step daughter, Becky O’Connell; his brother, Kenny Curl, Dave’s twin brother, Dan Curl; mother-in-law, Agnes O’Connell and sister-in-law, Joan “Misses” O’Connell.

Survivors besides his wife of 28 years, Tina Curl, include his children, Travis White, Karie (Richard) Curl, Tammy (Michael) Hartland, Billy Curl, Cayla Curl; siblings: Charla (Kenny) Wiebelhaus, Tommy Curl; his best friends, Donny Moulton, Rob Bennett, Tom Curl, Tony Geppner and Troy Pratt; his beloved cat, Chance; many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Friday from 1-3 p.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne.

A memorial service will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Dave and Tina’s home following the memorial service.
