Christine Allen, 91, of Old Day Center Rd., passed away Saturday morning, January 26, 2019 at Glens Falls Hospital.

She was born in Quitman, MS to Louie and Eula Irene Wright.  She graduated from Quitman High School in 1945.

She married Frederick Victriano in October of 1945 and they resided in Schenectady until moving to the Town of Day where they lived until his passing in 1977.  She married Junior Allen on August 3, 1979 and they made their home in the town of Day until his passing in 2010.

Christine was a federal employee working at the Social Security Administration in Queensbury for many years prior to her retirement in 1987.

She loved spending time with her family and her cat, Monet, traveling with Junior to Aruba and Reno, her weekly card games with friends, and her monthly lunch outings with Gladys. She was an avid NY Giants fan who looked forward to rooting them on each game.

She is lovingly survived by her stepdaughters, Bonnie (Kathy) McGinnis and Kelley Kenna both of Lake Luzerne; four grandchildren: Matthew (Ashley) Johnson, Stefanie (Kenny) McKinney, Sara Kenna, Lindsey Kenna; great grandchildren: Alana, Nathan and Christopher; son in law, Daniel Kenna; her special friends, Gladys and Joe McCarty.

In keeping with Christine’s wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
