I met Bud in 1968, since then we never had a cross word between us that is just incredible. We fished together , hunted together , rode motorcycles, can't remember anything we didn't do. I caught the first fish off his boat, he was happy it was me. His wood carvings were almost as good as his fathers, & that was amazing. I have one of his fathers carving, most people don't. His family always made me feel welcome. I can't forget going to Nova Scotia what a blast. I can go on forever, the good times , no bad times. He loved kids. He took my granddaughter fishing, & caught her first fish, she still talks about it. He talked about his grand kids with a smile on his face. He talked about his cats, that made me crazy. I spent my 65 birthday for a week in lake luzuerne fishing with him. The memories don't stop. DANE BRENT, AND EVERYONE CLOSE TO SPOCKER, ARE CONDOLENCES, I WILL KEEP IN TOUCH. R.I.P. HOMEY WE LOVE YOU. BATES& FAMILY

Just lost my best friend, lost our other friend last week. Bud& I go back to 1968.I never met a friend like this man. Of all the years we never ever had a cross word, that is just amazing . Hunt, fish, ride motorcycles together,we did it all, I have no regrets. He tried to teach me to carve, that did not work out. He was one of the best fisherman I ever fished with, along with Charlie. His grandsons will be missing a great outdoorsmen. I know his whole family, I was always welcome & still am. His father was a great carver, but he would not give any to anyone, but he gave me one 47 years ago , & it is still on my wall. He was always there for me & I for him. I will continue to see his family regardless of him gone. I want to tell his grandsons about him as they get older, he would want it that.I know I am part of the family. To the blood family, you all know how I feel. BUD( SPOCK) R.I.P.
